The 2024 GMC Hummer EV SUV Offers More Range

GMC announced that the 2024 Hummer EV SUT will have an even greater range than the previous model. The new model year will be able to travel up to 381 miles on a single charge, 26 miles more than the last cap of 355 miles, which is pretty impressive for a mammoth electric pickup truck!

Hercules inspired all of us to go to distance, so of course, maximizing the distance on a single charge is precisely what the doctor ordered. The EV3X trim level with the 24-module battery pack is the perfect trim. GMC doesn’t provide the exact net capacity of the battery pack, but it’s larger than anyone will find in other trim levels. With this configuration, Hummer enthusiasts can expect an estimated range of up to 383 miles. However, if fans opt for the Extreme Off-Road package, the range will drop a few hairs to 359 miles. The off-road package includes 18-inch wheels on 35-inch tires, extra skid plates, and other off-road-oriented upgrades. While this is 22 miles less than EV fans anticipate receiving without the kit, it’s still 30 miles more than what the previous model year (the 2023 GMC Hummer) offered.

GMC will provide the Hummer EV3X with a cargo bed, but a smaller 20-module battery will be standard. However, the range estimate for the 20-module battery has yet to be discovered. General Motors plans to reveal this information and more before the 2024 Hummer EV SUT hits the market this autumn (2023) for those who have already made reservations. The final pricing is yet to be determined, but the 3X trim will likely start at approximately $108K.
