Our Reviews
The service is terrible. No communication to let u know how long u have to wait.
Service was fine but when I scheduled for filters (engine intake filter and cabin filter) to be changed, the website showed a flat price with no mention of additional labor charges. This doubled the total cost and was a solid bait and switch to scam more money from customers. If I had known that at the time of scheduling I would've done them myself. Will only be doing oil changes, inspections, and warranty work done there going forward and will not be dealing with Southern for service or any new vehicle purchases going forward.
What started out as relief turned into a headache for something so simple. I was happy to be told I could drop my car off when and get it back the same day for a tire issue when i brought it in around 745am. I was told a perfect pick up time. When I arrived later that day a little before estimated ready time I was told my vehicle hadn’t been looked at. I was advised to sit in the waiting area. I said okay fine I am early hoping it would be ready by estimated time. As I look up 30mins after the estimate time I can see a vehicle looks like mine but not sure it’s mine running with the door open like one of the services rep was going to get the owner of the vehicle it. I saw 3 groups of customers come and go. So I finally get up to go and ask if my car is ready. The person behind the desk goes to check on the paperwork and walks away and comes back and proceeds to tell me that it’s only one person and it’s still hasn’t been looked at. I stopped her and I said is that my car parked behind me running because it sure looks like it. She goes out and looked and confirmed that it was and it must just got parked there. That is when I advised her that NO it’s been there running for 15mins.. I love Kia cars this is the third time I’ve been to this service center and this time I was not only unhappy but frustrated by the service. Did my issue get resolved yes. I worked customer service for many years and the service provided was very disappointing.
Recieved a express oil change doors were open as scheduled and I was greeted with a big pleasant smile and checked in promptly and the young man who assisted me keep me updated on my vehicle just made my experience great
After several messages left, I still have not heard if the part they had to order for my truck has arrived. Since I live 2.5 hours away, I have to schedule service in advance. Hard to do if they don’t answer when I call and won’t even return calls after messages are left!
Everything was fine,I enjoyed dealing with you all, but I wish I could of gotten 2 keys with my vehicle up front and also I would of like 2 temporary tags instead of 1 also I would of liked to gotten the license plates frames, Brian Hill
Awful communication, awful timeline, problem not fixed Check engine light still on Not happy with service
The staff was very professional and helpful. Everyone I dealt with was very friendly. The atmosphere at this dealership made me feel comfortable.
My appointment was to take care of a recall that was scheduled in June. Showed up only to find out you hadn’t even ordered the parts. Your service dept is a total waste of time. I drive from Elizabeth City NC. You should reimburse me for gas. This isn’t the first time I’ve had issues. Won’t ever buy another Kia.
My truck has a recall for the engine. The letter i received gave instructions to take it to the dealership, and they would inspect it. If it fails inspection, then the engine must be replaced. If it passes, then they need to put a higher viscosity oil in it. The attendant refused to do this despite me explaining it to him. He wouldn't listen to me at all. Shortly thereafter he got up and left work for the day. Also another attendant left at some point. This left only one attendant to take care of everything. The woman who stayed did the best she could despite having to work in an unfair environment. I dropped my truck off at my appointed time; 9:30AM. I returned at 2:00PM. It appeared that nothing had been done and the attendant couldn't tell me what happened. She then said they needed more time and said it would be an hour wait. I waited an hour and my truck had not been moved from the parking lot. At that point I had to go and find the manager, Dan in his office. I explained that I needed the Recall inspection, a state inspection, an oil change and the battery in the key fob needed to be changed. Dan then said that the inspections had been done but the oil change hadn't been input in the system. The shop foreman/scheduler then popped his head in and said they could change the oil in 10 minutes. So I said yes and then it took an additional 45 minutes for them to complete the oil change. Then came the worst part. The oil change was not completed correctly and there is oil leaking from the filter or the oil pan. The oil hits the exhaust crossover and
had to get appt on our time when ordering parts long time to get appt hard to speak to service personnel & no one returns calls customers need to keep calling to get appt ask questions whatever!
Our serviceman Detwan was great kept us informed of my car being serviced. Thanks again
Was surprised at the speed of their team. Great job and many thanks .loved the great customer service manager who assisted me.
My experience was extremely exceptional thanks to Reggie the salesman who went above and beyond for me
Your services department sucks. No one take account for their mistakes. Instead they blame the customer
