Here’s What to Expect from Buick’s 2023 Lineup

Hard away at work, Buick is prepping for the launch of the all-electric 2024 Electra. Developing the Buick Electra marks a new battle zone for the automaker. The American automaker is transitioning into the electric segment one vehicle at a time; the automaker plans to unleash an EV fleet by 2030. 

Although there isn’t a significant overhaul to report for the 2023 lineup, some noteworthy enhancements are worth praising. However, enthusiasts were astonished to find the Encore discontinued. The Buick Encore was the most popular SUV in the automaker’s lineup and the most compact. Unfortunately, the Enclave maker underestimated the Encore’s esteem and extended the 2022 models production run. So when the Encore bids farewell, Buick will only house three crossover SUVs in the lineup. 

2023 Buick Enclave

For 2023, the spaciously equipped Enclave features three trims: Essence, Premium, and Avenir. The new crossover delivers 310 horsepower through a 3.6-liter V6 engine paired with a 9-speed automatic transmission. Furthermore, front-wheel drive is standard, but all-wheel drive is available. New additions for the Enclave include a new paint color and the available Sport Touring Edition package for the Essence trim, which features 20-inch gloss black wheels. 

2023 Buick Encore GX 

Since the Encore is no longer, the Encore GX takes the title of smallest Buick. The comfortable compact premieres in the Preferred, Select, and Essence trims. For such a small vehicle, the compact Buick is loaded with features. Standardly equipped inside the Encore GX is a built-in Wi-Fi hotspot, Amazon Alexa, wireless Apple CarPlay, and Android Auto. 

2023 Buick Envision 

Representing the middle siblings is the Buick Envision. The two-row seater is available in the Preferred, Essence, and Avenir trim. Yielding 228 horsepower is the turbocharged 2.0-liter 4-cylinder engine mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission. In addition, the Buick crossover comes standardly equipped with front-wheel drive, and all-wheel drive is optional. Moreover, every Buick vehicle welcomes two new exterior colors: White Frost Tricoat and Moonstone Gray Metallic.
