The 2024 Buick Envision Will Offer Super Cruise

For those that aren’t aware, GM Super Cruise is a driver-assist technology developed by the automaker. Super Cruise allows drivers to take their hands off the steering wheel for extended periods of driving. The NHTSA classifies this system as a Level 2 autonomous technology, meaning it’s a driver assist, not a fully autonomous system.

Super Cruise, a driving assistance feature, was introduced by General Motors in 2017 with the Cadillac CT6 luxury sedan. Since then, it has been incorporated in various GM models, such as the Cadillac CT5, Cadillac CT4, Cadillac Escalade, GMC Hummer EV, Chevy Bolt EUV, Chevy Silverado 1500, Chevy Tahoe, and more. GM plans to make Super Cruise available in 22 General Motor models by the end of 2023.

The updated 2024 Buick Envision crossover will allow customers to activate its system on over 400,000 miles of roads in the U.S. and Canada. The Super Cruise system includes the full range of availability for the Super Cruise update. However, other GM models, such as the Cadillac XT6 and Chevy Bolt EUV, will only offer part of the 400,000-mile update.

Enthusiasts can anticipate more information about the updated 2024 Buick Envision will be disclosed in the coming months. Production will commence in October (2023).
