Denali Performance Black Package for the New GMC Yukon

The Denali Performance Black Package will premiere for the 2022 GMC Yukon Denali and the 2022 GMC Yukon Denali XL. Unfortunately, the Performance package will not be available to order as briskly as its brother trims. But nothing is for sure, particularly pricing for the Denali package, but arrival is in order sometime after the SUV’s launch.

General Motors applied intricate alterations to the fifth-generation second-year model 2022 GMC Yukon. GM is 86ing two exterior colors: the Dark Sky Metallic and Smoky Quartz Metallic, replacing the exteriors with the vibrant Redwood Metallic. Standards for the utility vehicle include Lane Keep Assist accompanied by Lane Departure Warning and an all-new 12-inch digital instrument cluster. 

The Denali’s Performance Black Package brings several sporty elements to the full-size SUV, which include:

• Black nameplate
• Front 6-Piston Brembo Brake Upgrade with Color Matched Rear Calipers    

Another decision to make choosing difficult, the GMC Yukon AT4 which is off-road-oriented with a 6.2-Liter L87 V8 engine. The 6.2-Liter V8 supports 420 horsepower and 460 lb-ft of torque. The previous model of the GMC Yukon AT4 was available with a 5.3-Liter L84 V8 engine delivering 355 horsepower and 383 lb-ft of torque. However, the 5.3-Liter tows 200 pounds more than the 6.2-Liter. 

Breaking hearts is a part of the business as GM declares no anticipation for the 3.0-Liter Duramax turbodiesel on the Yukon AT4. Instead, beauty defeats the beast as the AT4’s illustrious front fascia is not compatible with the diesel mill.   

Again, GMC has yet to reveal pricing for the 2022 lineup. But speaking from speculation, the GMC Sierra AT4 pickup truck observes a differential of $2,195, transitioning from 5.3-Liter to 6.2-Liter. The Yukon will probably fall into the same ballpark.
