2025 Buick Envision Production Underway with Sleek New Features

The 2025 Buick Envision is officially on its way to production, but only with a slight change of plans. Initially slated to start production on August 5, 2024, General Motors has pushed back the launch by a few weeks. The new production date commenced on August 21, 2024, at the GM-SAIC Jinqiao Plant in China.

The 2024 Envision recently hit the market and introduced a mid-cycle refresh with updated exterior styling, a redesigned cabin, and an expanded suite of standard safety features. However, its production run will be short-lived, making way for the 2025 model, which will feature minor updates over its predecessor.

Drawing inspiration from the Buick Wildcat EV concept, the 2025 Envision’s refreshed design includes a revamped front fascia with a new grille and dual-tier headlamps and a revised rear featuring a new bumper and updated taillamps. Inside, the cabin now boasts a striking 30-inch diagonal panel that integrates both the gauge cluster and the infotainment system touchscreen, providing a customizable experience for navigation, vehicle information, audio, and more.

Safety remains a top priority, with the Envision featuring advanced technologies such as Adaptive Cruise Control, Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian and Bicycle Braking, and Rear Cross Traffic Braking. However, GM’s Super Cruise system is notably absent from the list of offerings.

Under the hood, the 2025 Buick Envision comes equipped with a turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine, delivering 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. Power is distributed to the standard all-wheel-drive (AWD) system through GM’s nine-speed automatic transmission, promising a smooth and responsive driving experience.

Built on the GM E2 platform, the Envision crossover remains a stylish and versatile option within Buick’s lineup.
