2023 Buick Envision Receives a Production Date

The 2023 Buick Envision is the third installment in the second generation of Buick’s powerhouse. The newest Envision will begin production at the General Motors Jinqiao plant in Beijing, China. The Buick SUV will commence with production on April 4th 2022. 

Anyone looking to pre-order the Envision could’ve done so back in December (2021). However, pre-orders have met minor tribulations due to the chip shortage. Although the Envision faces its fair share of adversities, nothing will stop General Motors from producing the pristine beauty.  

The 2023 Envision serves as the third model in the crossover’s second generation. Don’t anticipate any drastic differences from the 2022 Buick, but envision (pun intended) significant enhancements.

Buick does intend to eliminate two exterior colors: Satin Steel Metallic and Burnished Bronze Metallic. However, although Buick’s eliminating two exterior colors, there may be two new exterior colors for the 2023 model. 

General Motors also eliminated the Envision’s In-Vehicle Air Ionizer system. On the other hand, Buick expanded the availability of the Continuous Damping Control suspension system. In addition to the suspension system, Buick also provided the Envision with new 18-inch wheel options for the 2022 model. 

The standard crossover will employ the turbocharged 2.0L four-cylinder LSY gas engine. The four-cylinder engine yields 228 horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque. Paired to the four-cylinder engine is General Motors’ nine-speed automatic transmission. 

The 2022 Buick Envision’s pricing started at $32,695 (plus destination fee) for the standard trim (Preferred). Additionally, the Preferred includes front-wheel drive (FWD). Buick has yet to declare pricing for the 2023 Envision. However, expect to see pricing near the spring production start date (2022).
