2024 GMC Sierra HD AEV Grand Concept Reveals A Stunning Flatbed Truck

American Expedition Vehicles (AEV) demonstrated expertise in converting a regular-cab, long-bed 2024 GMC Sierra 2500HD into a heavy-duty overlander during the SEMA (Specialty Equipment Marketing Association) show from October 31 to November 3, 2023. AEV affirmed the toughness and durability of the heavy-duty GMC truck with the assistance of several accessories.

The GMC Sierra HD Grande concept showcased at the SEMA show is a rugged, capable off-road vehicle. One of its most notable features is the AEV prototype grille guard that protects the headlights. In addition, the heavy-duty truck features four powerful off-road lights and a 12,500-pound ComeUp winch below them, making it more than capable of enduring rough terrains.

The front bumper of the Sierra HD Grande concept is made of steel and is identical to the one found on the Sierra HD AT4X AEV Edition. The bumper also comes with a 12,500-pound ComeUp winch integrated into it. The custom GMC truck also features the AT4X suspension, which has Multimatic spool-valve dampers and a 1.5-inch lift, making it capable of handling even the most challenging terrains. The Sierra HD Grande features massive 40-inch BFGoodrich all-terrain tires mounted on Salta XD wheels. Furthermore, the truck has a full-size spare tire in the eight-foot aluminum flatbed in case of a flat.

AEV equipped the GMC Sierra HD Grande concept with stamped steel skid plates to protect the underbody from rough terrain. The heavy-duty GMC truck also boasts a custom steel bumper with a 9500-pound winch installed at the back. Other notable features include an ARB air compressor and a snorkel air intake that allows the 6.6-liter V-8 Duramax diesel engine to breathe even in water. The Sierra 2500’s engine delivers impressive power, producing 470 horsepower and 975 pound-feet of torque, making it a conqueror of any terrain.

The 2024 GMC Sierra 2500HD Grande is an impressive truck, boasting oversized tires and a massive brush guard. It features a custom paint job and prototype AEV front fender flares, making it a unique machine that stands out. While a standard 2024 GMC Sierra 2500HD starts at just over $47,000, this concept truck’s custom elements make it an off-roader’s priceless dream.
