The 2023 GMC Canyon Features a Cargo Bed with an LED Lighting Kit

• The high-output LED light kit produces 340 lumens per foot per lamp. 
• The cargo cancellation feature automatically turns off the lights after five seconds if any metallic cargo falls and remains on the lamp or after five seconds of continuous pressing.

Additionally, the Cargo bed includes two truck bed lights, the wiring harness, and the essentials for mounting hardware.

This is a friendly reminder that the GMC Canyon has only one powertrain option – the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L3B gasoline engine. The 2.7L engine is exclusively available in the High Output tune and can produce up to 310 horsepower and 430 pound-feet of torque in this midsize pickup. At the same time, the 2023 Chevy Colorado shares the same platform as the Canyon and offers two tunes of the L3B engine and the turbocharged 2.7L I4 L2R engine in its entry-level trims.

Concerning transmission options, the new Canyon employs a refreshed variation of General Motors’ eight-speed automatic. Underneath the chassis of Canyon is a refined variant of the GMT 31XX platform, another element the Chevrolet Silverado has in common. Meanwhile, GM’s Wentzville plant in Missouri continues to bring the Canyon to life.
