The Configurator for the 2024 GMC Terrain is Live
The 2024 GMC Terrain is coming out soon, and it seems like there won’t be too many drastic changes from the 2023 model year. The Terrain smoothly transitions into its seventh model year for the second-generation crossover. However, for those enthusiasts who need a headstart perfecting their beauty, go online and configure the 2024 GMC Terrain on the official GMC website. The 2025 model year will usher in a brand-new third generation, so it’ll be exciting to see what changes are in store for the impending crossover.
The GMC Terrain is available in four different trim levels. The trims include the SLE, SLT, AT4, and Denali. The first trim level, SLE, starts at $30,095*, while the mid-range SLT starts at $34,095*. The off-road-flavored AT4 is priced at $36,890*, and the range-topping Denali is priced at $39,995*. It’s worth noting that the SLE and SLT trims come with front-wheel drive as standard, while all-wheel drive is optional. On the other hand, the AT4 and Denali trims come with all-wheel drive as standard.
*All of these prices include a destination freight charge of $1,395.
The 2024 GMC Terrain trims are now more affordable than the equivalent trims offered for the 2023 model year, except for the Denali, which has the same pricing as the 2023 model year. The AT4 now has a starting price that is $505 less than before, while the SLE and SLT are both $1,200 less expensive.
The SLE and SLT trim levels no longer come with the OnStar & Connected Services Plan for three years as they did in the past. Instead, they now offer three years of Remote Access, which allows for easy remote control of the vehicle through the myGMC mobile app.
Pop the hood, and underneath the GMC crossover is a motivated turbocharged 1.5L engine, yielding 175 horsepower and 203 pound-feet of torque. The engine’s output is routed through the nine-speed automatic transmission, and the platform provides the bones. Production for the 2024 GMC Terrain takes place at the GM San Luis Potosí plant in Mexico.
