The 2024 Buick Encore GX Looks Better Than Ever Before

Buick is in the thick of an expansion, and the revolution has just begun. The American automaker is starting with the highly anticipated Encore GX. The 2024 Buick Encore GX receives plenty of refinements, starting with the subcompact SUV’s reworked front bumper and that sophisticated new logo. 

A Facelift 

For the 2024 model year, the subcompact Buick functioned as the first North American model to debut the automaker’s reimagined emblem. Initially, the Buick logo shocked the internet when it premiered on the Wildcat concept. Although the concept was an exhilarating exercise to get the electric vehicle juices flowing, as it turns out, the subcompact vehicle benefited from the Buick Wildcat’s impact. 

The Enclave maker’s enthusiasts may have witnessed spy shots of the camouflaged subcompact in December 2022. However, the Encore GX is more enchanting than we expected. Could the popular Buick SUV get any more luxurious? The answer is definitely as the front bumper of the Encore GX offers slim LED accents that are conspicuously interlaced between the headlights. Moreover, the new trapezoidal grille rests lower than the 2023 Buick Encore GX. 

New Buick Encore GX Trims 

So not only does the Buick Encore GX welcome a rejuvenated style, but two new trims join the family. Although the Preferred remains the base, the new Avenir trim is the most lavish. Further, the Sport Touring (ST) was once a stand-alone appearance package, but now, the trim sits between the Preferred and the Avenir. 

The Avenir trim will offer distinctive HVAC controls compared to its trim siblings. Exclusive to the Encore GX Avenir is the beige and black interior color scheme, plus leather seats with “Avenir” stitched on the headrests—further, power-adjustable front seats and a heated steering wheel. 

The Encore GX ST is the athletic trim of the crew. For example, the Sport trim delivers glossy black wheels and black lower molding, while the Avenir trim offers bright rims and molding that corresponds to its body color. The ST takes its distinctiveness up a level with the optional Black Roof package. Furthermore, the ST bears a flat-bottomed steering wheel and “ST” embroidery across the headrests.

An Infotainment System Worth Waiting for 

Enthusiasts will fall in awe with the Encore GX’s reimagined dashboard, a massive sheet of glass mounted on top. The single SUV panel maintains two large displays plus an 8.0-inch screen committed to the gauge cluster and 11.0 inches for the infotainment screen. The Buick Encore GX features standard wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Moreover, the cabin offers wireless charging with a more extensive pad than its predecessor. 

The American automaker says the rejuvenated Encore GX will initiate assemblage in March of 2023 and go on sale in the Spring (of 2023). Additionally, the Preferred trim will start at $26,895*, which is $300 less than the 2023 Buick Encore GX. Further, the ST and Avenir trims will start at $28,095* and $33,195* (excluding taxes and destination fees).
