North America to Inherit a Buick Envista with Avenir Trim

Last month (October 2022), Buick disclosed that the Envista might find its way across the pond to the North American Market. However, there is more news about the Buick Envista saga. Rumor is that the American market is expected to receive an Avenir trim. 

Sources close to the Encore maker alleged that General Motors would provide an Avenir trim for the Buick Envista if the SUV finds its way in North America. Currently, the Avenir trim is exclusive to the Buick Envision and Enclave. 

The Avenir trim favors the Denali sub-brand that GMC offers. The upper-level trim reveals a luxurious experience that entices enthusiasts to a fully loaded adventure. Further, an Avenir trim for the Buick Envista does sound like the perfect duo. 

The Buick Envista offers four different trim levels in the Chinese market. The trim levels include the base, GS+, GS, Smart, and the premium, Enjoy. The Envista’s specs and features include the turbocharged 1.5-liter inline-4 gasoline engine. The 1.5-liter forges 181 horsepower through a continuously variable transmission (CVT). Look below at the under-body panels and the Buick Envista cruises on GM’s new VSS-F vehicle set, which is also on the new 2024 Chevy Trax.

Buick announced earlier this year that the North American market lineup would feature four internal combustible engine models as the Encore SUV confronts discontinuation after the 2022 model. Speaking of the future, the Buick Envista may subtly replace the Encore.
