Anticipation Mounts for the 2025 Buick Envision

The 2025 Buick Envision marks the forthcoming model year after the refreshed 2024 Buick Envision and the fifth year after the re-engineered and redesigned second generation’s debut in 2021. The SUV will reveal minor enhancements and modifications.

The future Envision will schedule the start of regular production (SORP) for the 2025 model year, albeit the date is subject to change. Regular production for the refreshed SUV will commence on Monday, August 5th, 2024. Interestingly, the refreshed 2024 Envision is not available at U.S. or Canadian dealerships but is expected to launch this Summer (2024). Consequently, the 2024 model year will coincide with the debut of the 2025 model year at Buick showrooms.

Pricing for the 2024 Buick Envision starts at $35,900 for the base Preferred trim and peaks at a starting MSRP of $47,000 for the top-tier Avenir trim; all pricing excludes the $1,395 destination freight charge (DFC) and taxes. Various packages and optional paint choices are available for the refreshed Envision. The vehicle’s focal point is its newly introduced 30-inch diagonal infotainment screen, which is customizable for multiple functions and integrated with Google Assistant and numerous helpful apps. Safety features include Advanced Adaptive Cruise Control, Intersection Automatic Emergency Braking, Front Pedestrian and Bicycle Braking, and Rear Cross Traffic Braking, among others.

Under the hood, the 2024 Buick Envision houses a singular powertrain option expected to carry over to the 2025 model. The turbocharged 2.0L I4 LSY gasoline engine delivers 228 horsepower and 258 pound-feet of torque. All-wheel drive (AWD) comes standard across all three trim levels, coupled with the GM nine-speed automatic transmission for seamless gear shifts. The Buick Envision rests on the GM E2 platform, with production handled at the GM China SAIC-GM Jinqiao South plant.
