The Envista has 97 cubic feet of passenger volume and ample rear-seat legroom. Despite the sloping roofline, plenty of rear-seat headroom still exists, and the flat floor adds to the spaciousness. With a starting price of $22,400* (excludes taxes and destination fees), it’s hard to believe that the Envista is the least expensive Buick model. 

The top-trim Envista Avenir is worth the $28,600* (excludes taxes and destination fees) price tag, as it offers a solid structure that doesn’t shudder in response to big suspension impacts, a supple ride without any sign of floatiness and a quiet cabin that registers just 68 decibels at 70 mph. 

The Envista driver is warmly greeted by an 8.0-inch digital cluster and an 11.0-inch touchscreen that are both easy to use and have phone-mirroring capability. Although there is plenty of hard plastic inside the Buick SUV, the swooping design on the instrument panel and attractive textures help mask some of the cost-cutting. Leather and six-way power seats that adjust easily into an ideal driving position are standard on the Avenir, making it a comfortable and pleasant place to sit. 

The Buick Envista’s thin-rimmed steering wheel looks luxurious and provides excellent steering accuracy with natural effort and weighting. The driving experience is refined and confident, making it an ideal option for city driving and freeway cruising. The SUV’s overall performance remains impressive, especially for its price range.

Overall, the Buick Envista is a well-rounded, poised, and refined subcompact SUV that still provides excellent value with a starting price of under $30,000. Although there may be some quibbles about the interior materials, this is easily forgivable given the car’s overall performance. Nevertheless, the Envista is still an excellent option for anyone looking for an affordable and luxurious car.
